THE VISION

ABUNDANCE
“The ability to do what you need to do when you need to do it.”

The Vision of the CACOON or The Creative Actions Centers of Online Open Source Networks,is one I have had awareness of since I was 10 years old. I know that we all come into the world with a mission and regardless of what anyone may say it is always fulfilled.

I like the word Abundance and this definition as it clearly defines my mission and the mission I know we all have to see ourselves, our families and loved ones flourshing. We all want to be able to do things we want to do when we want to. There is an old belief that this is a luxury but in fact  it is our birth right as human beings.

” The future belongs to a very different kind of person with a very different kind of mind–creators and empathizers, pattern recognizers, and meaning makers. These people–artists, inventors, designers, storytellers, caregivers, consolers, big picture thinkers–will now reap society’s richest rewards and share its greatest joys.”

DANIEL PINK – A Whole New Mind

For the past 8 years I have done a real life research and development into a creative way of transforming the way we live. I had no idea that my vision and ideas of creativity would take this long nor did I know that what I had envisioned on this web site was what I was co-creating.

What I did know was that I would somehow see this vision through its unfolding.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF MY 8 YEAR JOURNEY

In 2007 I had just left  my home my business and my entire way of life after a year long legal battle to preserve some sense of financial stability. I finally gave up and left with a $10,000.00 credit card debt to keep my so called credit and a $20,000.00 settlement to be paid over one years time. I was starting my life over literally.

INTENTIONAL COMMUNITIES

MILE POST 5 : A COMMUNITY FOR CREATIVES

I moved back to Portland Oregon and immediately my life began to attract creativity and connections. I met a photographer who introduced me to the Creative Director of an Intentional community for creatives. In October of 2008 my funds were almost exhausted and I had found no work in the collapsed economy. I created a presentation to develop my vision for the seed version of CACOON and SHOWCASE NETWORKS to the Creative Director and the developers of MilePost Five or MP5.

I lived at MP5 as an Artist in Residence for a year and half and created the foundation and seed for the Creative Action Centers.

PROTOYPES

LEARNING BY DOING

During my stay at MP5 I created the prototypes for The CACOON and the Social Impact Innovation System outlined on this web site. I lived every aspect of what has been developed here on a micro level.

CONNECTIONS

CONSTANT CREATIVITY

I know a lot of people and I say that with respect to the creativity it takes to connect with others with the heart. The connections I made and the things I have learned have allowed me to have a love of life, for I see all the brilliance in people and it makes me want to always be in a state of flowing into new experiences.

CO-CREATION

CREATING WITH OTHERS

The past 8 years have allowed me to work with many people who have stuck with me and this vision in ways that have astounded me. Every photo, video, graphic design down to the legal filing of my business was supported by the help of many for NO money and when there was money it was very little.

GRATITUDE

YOU ARE WEALTH

It was during the very challenging times of not eating, crying and recovering my emotional state of being to some sense of wholeness that I learned that WEALTH and VALUE  are indeed people. When people have the willingness to exchange their talents and skills for what I now call USE VALUE then the law of wealth kicks in and a constant state of giving and receiving occurs. My Gratitude and Love is to all of you who have supported this work all these years.

THE OPEN KITCHEN

A CREATIVE ACTION CENTER

2010 was the start of my first Social Business we called The Open Kitchen. This all came from a conversation with two creative and inventor friends of mine as we talked about the vision for changing how we eat and heal.

ABBY’S TABLE

A GIFT FOR HARNESSING TALENT

I had walked by a space in 2009 that was the the essence of what I saw in the Vision of The Open Kitchen. A few weeks later  I had brought together 30 top creatives, entrepreneurs and innovators and created the pilot tv series Showcase PDX. It was during this time I met Abby from Abby’s Table. She invited me to her space and .. BAM! it was the exact space I had seen a few weeks prior. Abby’s style and sense of design and aesthetic were outstanding. We began to collaborate and The Open Kitchen began and I finally had a little money for a short time. It felt so good to be able to participate in exchange easily again.

COMMUNITY BUIDLING

THE LAW OF ATTRACTION IN ACTION

During my time at the Kitchen as we called it we developed the prototype for many of the programs that are contained in the Community Build Programs. We worked with naturopathic doctors, producers from Grey’s Anatomy and hosted local chef, farm and winery dinners that drew attention from businesses, non profits and foodies all around the country.

HEALING

ALLOWING LIFE TO FLOW

I met some of my most favorite people through social media. Creativity breeds creativity and It found me. During the years of 2010 to 2012 I had great momentum. Having been chosen to be on the cover of the first edition of a new magazine about the Open Kitchen and the Community Credits Program gave me the fuel I needed to keep going.

From 2012 to 2015 I learned more in this time than it seems than I had in most of my life. Great healing in spirit, mind and body occurred from past emotional attachments and the feelings of lack from not making money or very little in the realm of $200 a month if that. The grace of the past three years that has been shared with me from family and friends and in particular my Aloha Family as I call them, has allowed me to have a place to rest and call home. Through the support of many I have been able to continue this work and in that I am now able to present it to the world.

SUPPORTING POLY-SYNTHESIZERS
AND SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS

I am introducing you to many new terms that most  have not heard before.

The term POLY-SYNTHESIZERS is one of those terms had not existed until about 4 months ago. It came to me  while I was writing one day.

THE TERM

Simply put this means that there are people from every generation on the planet that are about to come forth and join together to help communities come out of what appears to be a slavery of beliefs. We as Synthesizers or Imaginal Cells or ones who can see things different than the current tide of thinking, will come together and collaborate to help move society into a new way of living that will benefit humanity as whole.

How do I know this you ask ? Well it is already happening and on this site I will begin to show you who they are and how we can collaborate to do this work of Integration.

“If you want to be important-wonderful. If you want to be recognized-wonderful. If you want to be great-wonderful. But recognize that he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. That’s a new definition of greatness. And this morning, the thing that I like about it: by giving that definition of greatness, it means that everybody can be great, because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. You don’t have to know Einstein’s theory of relativity to serve. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love. And you can be that servant.”
